How does it work?
First, a concrete slab is cast as a foundation. Then the first row of blocks is placed. Reinforcement is placed between the blocks, both vertically and horizontally. Then they are filled with concrete and allowed to cure completely.
Once it has hardened, you apply a layer of non-woven fabric and then cover the pool with liner fabric. This is available in many different colors and designs.
We offer two different variants of the thermal block, Thermoblock 3.0 and the other is called Thermoblock 4.0 Extreme.
Above-ground Thermopool 3.0 STD
Thermoblock 3.0 is called the third generation of thermoblock. This is built by casting a reinforced base plate. Then the blocks, made of a polystyrene material, are assembled, with the hard inner side facing inward.
This hard inner side of the blocks prevents unsightly marks that can otherwise be caused by heels, knees, balls, and other hard objects that may occur in the pool. This way, you do not need to clean and install tiles on the inside of the pool.
The blocks are 100 cm high and 25 cm wide.
Above-ground Thermopool 4.0 EXTREME
Like Thermopool 3.0, Thermopool 4.0 Extreme has a similar construction system and consists of cast EPS elements. They provide you with a finished wall with double-sided insulation without thermal bridges.
Thermopool 4.0 Extreme is a full-fledged building system, especially suitable for pools, foundation walls, cottages, garages, and industrial premises, among others.
4.0 Extreme consists, like Thermopool 3.0, of blocks with a hard core. What distinguishes them is that these blocks are larger and more efficient.
The thermoblocks for Thermopool 4.0 Extreme weigh only about 1.5 kg and are stacked like building blocks. Since the assembly is easy and the blocks are light, the construction process is fast and requires less work than other building systems.
The size of the 4.0 blocks is 125 cm, and the height is 37.5 cm. This means you only need 4 rows for a 1.50 m deep pool instead of 6 rows. This saves reinforcement steel and concrete, and the working time is shorter than for the 3.0 blocks.
Is an above-ground pool right for you?
Do you dream of an above-ground pool? Maybe build a lovely wooden deck around your pool where the whole family can enjoy the sun and water. Come in and choose from our pool models and find one that fits your garden or property.
Our above-ground pools are of the highest quality. Choose whether your pool should be above ground or if you want a partially in-ground pool. The thermo pools have a very stable construction and frame, so you can feel safe when the family takes a swim. Choose the shape and size that best suits your needs and property.
It can be tempting to choose cheaper alternatives, but an above-ground thermopool offers both better insulation and longer durability. It is easy to think these are easy to install, but we recommend that you have prior knowledge of the construction industry for our above-ground thermopool products. An above-ground thermopool is relatively inexpensive to acquire; here, it is the labor that is more costly.
How long does it take?
It takes about 6-10 weeks to build an above-ground pool. This includes one week for excavation, foundation, drainage, and casting the base slab. Then it takes a few days to build and reinforce the pool blocks and then fill them with concrete.
Then you have to wait 4 weeks for the concrete to cure. Since the concrete is encapsulated without access to oxygen, it takes longer to cure than usual when using this material.

Above-ground pool – a smart choice for your garden
Investing in an above-ground pool has many advantages. It is both easier and cheaper to install than in-ground pools, while giving you and your family the opportunity to swim all summer long.
Choose a pool that fits your needs
When choosing a pool, it is important to consider shape and size. A round pool is easy to place in smaller gardens and creates a cozy swimming environment, while a rectangular above-ground pool is good for those who want more space to swim. Whether you want a small or large pool, there are different sizes to choose from. Our pools are made of quality materials and will last for many years, making them a long-term investment for your home.
How to place your above-ground pool
To ensure the pool is stable and lasts longer, it is important to consider where it should be placed. The surface should be even and firm to keep the pool stable throughout the seasons. If you want an extra durable construction, you can also build a rectangular pool with a frame around it for better support.
Materials and durability
A cast concrete pool is a popular solution for those who want a permanent and extra durable pool. Regardless of the material, it is important to protect the pool from the elements, so it lasts for many years. With proper care and maintenance, your pool can provide you with many wonderful swimming seasons ahead.
