Pool installation
Today there are several ways to build a pool and different materials to use. There are many types of pools on the market, and these can be divided into two categories. Pools that are delivered in parts, and those that are delivered as a whole pool. With a pool delivered as a whole pool, the installation is much faster, and you also avoid PVC liner fabric in your pool. See our selection of pools here.
Glasfiber pool
This pool is delivered as a "complete shell." In recent years, there has been high demand for this type of pool on the market. At Pooltime, we carefully select our suppliers to ensure the longest possible lifespan. Fiberglass is a sensitive material, so it is especially important to choose the right supplier.
The reason for this is that cheap fiberglass pools (of low quality), which contain polyester, can develop so-called blistering or osmosis because the polyester slowly leaks through water that freezes in winter. This causes the pool to crack or rot in summer and form bubbles in the surface layer.
Our supplier offers the world's most unique pool from the patented Composite Armour technology. These fiberglass pools are also called composite pools.
Composite pools contain a mesh of Kevlar and carbon fiber, which makes the pool walls flexible yet very durable. Composite pools contain only vinyl ester and no polyester, which is why they come with a lifetime guarantee.
Termoplastic pool / PP pool
Thermoplastic pool or polypropylene pool (PP Pool) / Plastic pool is the latest technology in the pool industry. The pool material consists of the environmentally friendly material polypropylene, which belongs to the thermoplastic group and has an extremely good insulating ability.
Thermoplastic pools are delivered as a "single shell" just like fiberglass pools. Since polypropylene is a homogeneous material, osmosis/blistering cannot form, as it can in cheap fiberglass pools that contain polyester. The material is very durable, so even dogs can swim in the pool!
PP pools are concrete pools and are very popular because they are both affordable and easy to customize to your wishes. With a PP pool, you get an attractive pool in your garden without having to spend a massive budget. PP rods also offer many options when it comes to the pool's size and shape.
