Nivo KIT

Nivo KIT is a low pool cover with clear plastic and anodized (B) or anthracite powder-coated (BS) aluminum profiles. The advantage of the Nivo KIT is that the installation of the rails is simple. All rails come in one piece and multiple rails do not need to be installed next to each other. The pool cover is delivered with 3 mm clear plastic.

Icon KIT

Icon KIT is an ultra-low pool cover with clear plastic and powder-coated anthracite aluminum profiles. The pool cover is available in three sizes, but can also be custom ordered. Casablanca Infinity

Casablanca Infinity is a pool enclosure with an elegant design. It features a modern look with curved and solid polycarbonate and carbon-coated aluminum profiles.
The advantage of the carbon profiles is that the aluminum profiles get a double layer. First, they are colored black and baked in an oven, then the profiles are placed into a "sleeve" and baked again to burn in the pattern.

The pool enclosure has a sliding door on the side of your choice and can be equipped with rails on both sides or rails on only one side. The pool enclosure naturally includes lockable modules and a lockable side door. It is delivered with 4mm clear plastic.

Sydney

Sydney is an ultra-low pool enclosure that also features a single track on one side of the enclosure. The pool enclosure is available with either multiwall polycarbonate or clear glass, and since it is ultra-low, it does not have a side door. The profiles are anthracite-colored and the tracks are made of anodized aluminum. The advantage of Sydney is that you can choose between multiwall polycarbonate or clear plastic, as multiwall polycarbonate insulates twice as well. With this pool enclosure, you can choose between 8 mm multiwall polycarbonate and 4 mm clear plastic.

The Dallas pool enclosure is a classic that was introduced to the Swedish market in 2012 when municipalities began requiring building permits for structures over 1 m. Dallas features rounded profiles in powder-coated anthracite or anodized aluminum profiles. With this pool enclosure, you can choose between 8 mm twin-wall polycarbonate and 4 mm clear polycarbonate.

Smart

The Smart pool roof has been specially developed for Sweden, where municipal requirements have been to keep the roof over the pool under 1 m, while the pool roof should simply be maintenance-free.
Just like Dallas, the pool roof is low, but here it has a more rounded top so that snow does not pile up on the top but slides down. Smart is available in powder-coated aluminum profiles and can be supplied with 8 mm multiwall polycarbonate and 4 mm clear plastic.

Classic (Klasik)

Classic is a favorite in Sweden and with its radius, this pool cover is the most maintenance-free cover you can buy. The pool cover handles snow excellently because the snow slides off the pool cover thanks to its shape. Classic is available in two variants: 8 mm twin-wall polycarbonate or the CLEAR model with clear solid 4 mm plastic.

  • 1. Height of the pool roof

    A higher pool cover is always preferable in Sweden due to weather and wind. However, there are certain factors that affect the height you can have. Most municipalities require a building permit for heights over 1 m, and some municipalities have limits as low as 60 cm. Always check with your municipality if a building permit is required before ordering your pool cover. Another aspect is that tall pool covers are perceived as bulky and can obstruct the view. A general rule is that higher pool covers have a rounder shape so that snow cannot accumulate on them but slides off. This means that models with a radius handle snow loads better, while lower pool covers require maintenance during winter to prevent the snow weight from pressing down on the pool cover.

    Medium-height pool roofs around 1 m still allow swimming underneath while handling snow relatively well

  • 2. Insulation capacity

    The pool covers are available in two options: multiwall polycarbonate or clear plastic. Multiwall polycarbonate means there is an air gap within the polycarbonate material itself. The multiwall polycarbonate we sell is 8 mm thick, and the clear plastic is available in 3 mm or 4 mm thickness. Clear plastic means it is a solid sheet made of either shatterproof polycarbonate (PC) or SAN (acrylic). Polycarbonate is a material four times more expensive than SAN, but at the same time, it is shatterproof. It is the same material the police use for their shields or that is found on the sides of an ice hockey rink. Multiwall polycarbonate always insulates much better than clear plastic, but the downside is that you cannot see through the pool cover, which is why many often choose clear plastic.

    Clear plastic lets out about 69% more heat than corrugated plastic.

  • 3. Rails on one side or both sides

    In recent years, more and more pool roof models have been introduced with a rail on only one side. On the side where the pool roof lacks a rail, it runs on wheels. These pool roofs are especially sensitive to variations in the ground, while offering the advantage of not having a rail where you enter the pool.

    Our Casablanca Infinity pool roofs have rails on one side, Champion has a rail on one side only at the largest and smallest modules, and Sydney has a single rail on one side of the pool roof.

    All our pool roofs have so-called "walk-friendly rails," but at the same time, one has to ask: "how often do you really want to walk on a rail?"
