    The Thermoplast PP Pool or plastic pool is the latest technology in the pool industry. The pool is made from the thermoplastic Polypropylene (PP). In addition to being made from a material with excellent insulation properties, it also has features that liner pools or fiberglass pools lack.

    The Thermoplast PP Pool is made from a material that is incredibly durable and has a very long lifespan, provided that the pool is well maintained and the ground on which the pool stands has been properly prepared. There are also many options for accessories and lighting for this type of pool.

  • Do I need to apply for a building permit to get a pool?

    Generally, no building permit from the municipality is required to build a pool, but you must ensure that you do not build your swimming pool on restricted land. If you build a swimming pool closer to the neighbor's property, you usually also need the neighbor's permission.

    Pool type – Which pools are popular? What type of pool should I choose?

    There are between 10-15 different pool types offered in Sweden, ranging from above-ground pools to in-ground pools. It is usually the location of the plot that determines which pool type suits your property. Previously (from the 1960s onwards), pools were lined with liner and were a popular option because the material was readily available in Sweden and therefore inexpensive to purchase.

    More recently, these materials have been avoided, and the pool industry has become more environmentally conscious. Materials like PVC are increasingly avoided, even though the pool liner fabric consists of PVC. Nowadays, environmentally friendly alternatives such as PP (Polypropylene) pools are often chosen, which are also delivered pre-assembled as a “complete tub.” This way, the customer gets a concrete pool that is eco-friendly. Installation of pool

Today, there are several ways to build a pool and many materials to use. There are many types of pools on the market, and these can be divided into two categories. Pools that are delivered in parts and those that are delivered as a whole shell. With pools delivered as a whole shell, installation is much faster, and you also avoid using PVC liner in your pool. Glasfiber pool

This pool is delivered as a “complete tub.” In recent years, there has been a high demand for this type of pool on the market. At Pooltime, we carefully select our suppliers to ensure the longest possible lifespan. Fiberglass is a sensitive material, so it is especially important to choose the right supplier.
The reason for this is that cheap fiberglass pools (of low quality) containing polyester can develop so-called blistering or osmosis, because the polyester slowly allows water to pass through, which freezes in winter. This causes the pool to crack or mold in summer and form bubbles in the surface layer.
Our supplier offers the world’s most unique pool using the patented Composite Armour technology. These fiberglass pools are also called composite pools.
Composite pools contain a mesh of kevlar and carbon fiber, making the pool walls flexible yet very durable. Composite pools contain only vinyl ester and no polyester, which is why they come with a lifetime warranty.

Thermoplast pools are delivered as a “whole tub” just like fiberglass pools. Since polypropylene is a homogeneous material, osmosis / blistering cannot occur, as it can in cheap fiberglass pools containing polyester. The material is durable, so even dogs can swim in the pool!
